In the afternoon we adjourned to the Ullevi Stadium where Knut Leman, Head of Group Communication informed about Vattenfall’s brand strategy. In the evening we watched some of the very exciting finals, such as the mens high jump and javelin, the women’s 100 metres, the mens 400 meters as well as the 1,500 metres finals. This year’s CMD also featured an optional event. On 10 August. a field trip to Vattenfall’s nuclear power plant at Ringhals, Scandinavias largest power plant, was arranged along with a seminar on Vattenfall’s Nordic electricy production and nuclear production in particular. Some 30 participants listened to presentations by Göran Lundgren, Head of Nordic Electricty Generation and Jan Edberg, Managing Director of Ringhals AB.
