On 5 October 2004 Vattenfall conducted its third Capital Markets Day for international and domestic financial communities at Nalen in central Stockholm. Some 100 participants, including credit analysts, bankers, rating agencies, investors and financial journalists, listened to presentations by CEO Lars G. Josefsson, CFO Matts Ekman, Dr. Klaus Rauscher, Head of Vattenfall Europe in Germany, Hans von Uthmann, Head of Business Group Nordic and Lennart Billfalk, Head of Group Strategies. The purpose of the day was to present recent developments within Vattenfall and its markets and to share perspectives on the current market and factors likely to affect it in the future. Topics discussed included nuclear power, network regulations and carbon dioxide emissions.
