Vattenfal capital markets day, 21 October 2003
On October 21, 2003 Vatttenfall organized its 2nd Capital Markets Day for the international and domestic financial community at Nalen in the centre of Stockholm.
Some 80 participants, including credit analysts, bankers, rating agencies, investors and financial journalists listened to presentations by CEO Lars G. Josefsson, CFO Matts Ekman, Dr. Klaus Rauscher, Head of Vattenfall Europe in Germany and Tuomo Hatakka, Head of Vattenfall Poland.
The purpose of the day was to give an overview on recent developments within Vattenfall and its markets as well as sharing our views on the current and future situation on the Nordic and European electricity markets. Vattenfall’s financial steering model was presented and issues such as network regulation and the forthcoming carbon dioxide emission trading system were also covered.
