I am interested in working for Vattenfall, what should I do?
We advertise all global vacant positions on www.vattenfall.com. We also publish vacancies in our different countries where we have business, such as vattenfall.se, vattenfall.de, vattenfall.fi and vattenfall.dk. If there are no vacancies at the time, or if the vacant positions don’t match your profile, you can always register your CV in our job database. Don’t forget to make your CV searchable for our recruiters. You can also register a job search agent. Then you will automatically receive an email when we have a vacant position that matches your profile.
What happens to my application when I have applied?
You will automatically receive a letter that confirms that your application is registered. If you don’t receive this letter you need to make sure that you have applied correctly. All applications are treated confidentially. On the basis of the applications we contact people who best match the desired profile. When you apply for a position via Vattenfall job database, make sure to attach your personal cover letter.
What should I write in my personal cover letter?
Describe yourself – your character and qualities! Describe why you are the right person for the job. Try not to repeat what you already have written in your CV.
How important are references?
Important! Don't list your references until you really want a job, treat them with care.
What should I bear in mind before a recruitment interview?
Be yourself! You have been invited because we are interested in meeting you. Be as open as possible about yourself and your experiences. That will increase the possibilities for us to make a fare evaluation of you. Make sure you have plenty of time. Don’t be too stressed, either before or after the interview.
