Good leaders

Our managers must be able to manage both business and people. We run management development programmes, designed to develop our managers’ skills. Participants in these programmes learn from leaders within Vattenfall and industry in general, as well as from top universities and business schools.

The right competence

We clearly define the skills we think our employees will need in the future. This allows our employees to take charge of their own professional and personal development, while ensuring that we have the competencies required in the ever-changing energy business.

Employee commitment

A critical success factor for Vattenfall is to enhance employee commitment. The annual employee survey “My Opinion” gives employees the opportunity to describe working conditions in all parts of the Group. Managers discuss the survey results with their teams and agree on action plans for further improvements.
