The latest Annual General Meeting
Vattenfall's Annual General Meeting 2008 was held on 29 April at Nalen Conference in Stockholm. The meeting was open to the public, as during previous years. Renewal of energy system was in the spotlight. In his speech, the CEO Lars G Josefsson also linked this to the theme of the Vattenfall annual report, “Power for renewal”.

New Board members
Three new Board members were elected: Lars Westerberg, Viktoria Aastrup and Eli Arnstad. Lars Westerberg was elected Chairman of the Board. Among non-AGM–elected board members, Lars-Göran Johansson replaced Stig Lindberg as a deputy. Dag Klackenberg, Jonas Iversen and Greta Fossum left the Board of Directors.
