Lars Westerberg
Born 1948, is chairman of the Board and was elected to
the Board in 2008.
Education:
Lars holds a M.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology and is a graduate in Business Administration from the University of Stockholm.
Work experience:
He started 1972 in ASEA where he worked until 1984 when he was a sales manager in ASEA Robotics. In 1984 he started in Esab where he from 1991 to 1994 was President and CEO. During the years 1994 – 1999 he was President and CEO in Gränges AB and after that he was President and CEO in Autoliv AB up to April 2007.
Board Member:
Since 2007 Lars is the chairman of the board of Autoliv AB and Husqvarna AB and he is a member of the board of SSAB, AB Volvo and Plastal AB. Lars is independent in relation to the Company and the Executive Group Management.
