Group Functions
The Group Functions support and assist the CEO, EGM/ExCom, and the BG Management Teams by executing their functional responsibility. Each Group Function has authority and responsibility throughout the whole Group within its own area of responsibility. The functional responsibility of each Group Function is:
- to propose, develop and follow up Group policies, instructions and processes (to be approved by EGM),
- to identify improvement needs and propose to EGM necessary Group projects and activities,
- to ensure that the CEO, EGM/ExCom and the BG Management Teams have access to necessary competence,
- to monitor Business Groups with regard to their functional responsibility, e.g. environmental performance.
