Production
Forsmark’s reactors supply electricity to the Swedish national grid 24 hours a day, almost all year round.
The three reactors are responsible for around a sixth of Sweden’s electricity production, approximately 25 TWh. The electricity is produced in a safe and economical way with good environmental properties. Over the next few years we are planning to increase power output, which will entail a further approximately 3.3 TWh of electricity annually in increased electricity production from Forsmark.
