Supplier Qualification in Vattenfall Supplier Bank

Do you want to be a Vattenfall supplier? Welcome!

We want all our suppliers to register and qualify in our qualification system Vattenfall Supplier Bank (VSB). In order to make sure that all our suppliers accept our Code of Conduct for Suppliers and live up to our minimum standards, we would like all our suppliers to go through a qualification process. The process is managed in the Vattenfall Supplier Bank, provided by our service provider Achilles.

All suppliers wishing to have the possibility to get an invitation to tender issued by Vattenfall in Sweden should register here. (Please see link to the right on this page)

Please note that the roll out of the VSB system is made stepwise and that Vattenfall in Poland, Finland, Denmark and Germany will follow according to the schedule showed to the right on this page.

Registration and qualification in Vattenfall Supplier Bank, or the Achilles systems Sellihca/Connexio, will be necessary in order to be a supplier to Vattenfall. What exact steps the qualification process for your company will entail is depending on the risk profile of the products and services that you wish to supply to Vattenfall. The information that is entered by you in the qualification process will be analysed and validated by Vattenfall in cooperation with our service provider Achilles.

Minimum requirements for Vattenfall Suppliers

All Vattenfall suppliers should agree to the 10 principles set out in the UN Global Compact, as described at http://www.unglobalcompact.org/ and to follow the recommendations in Vattenfall’s Code of Conduct for suppliers (Please see link to the right on this page)

• Vattenfall’s suppliers are to provide financial information, at least turnover and pre-tax-profit from the last reported year
• Vattenfall’s suppliers are up-to-date with tax payments and the annual reports / tax declarations are sent in time to the responsible authorities and the company is not in any guardianship or have any other severe statutory issues
• The VSB-application is complete by answering the questionnaire given to the company
• Suppliers who deliver products and services with a medium to high risk profile should complete a qualification in the Achilles systems Sellihca or Connexio in order to be qualified as a Vattenfall supplier
• Suppliers who whish to supply to the Swedish Nuclear Power Plants also have to complete the questionnaire designed for that purpose in Sellihca.

Please note that a registration and qualification in VSB does not automatically qualify the supplier to participate in all Vattenfall’s tenders in the selected product categories. Depending on the tender specification, there can be specific requirements (for example quality or environmental management system) that are not covered by a VSB-qualification.
