Towards more transparency

Vattenfall produces power in its core markets and operates the Epe gas storage at the Dutch-German border. To improve transparency in the energy market, Vattenfall provides information on availability of its power production units and its gas storage.

Vattenfall publishes detailed market data on joint platforms or
on its own webpage:

Nordic:

Germany:

The Netherlands:

and at

Through the REMIT legislation, the EU has obliged power plant and gas storage operators to inform about current availabilities and about any unexpected outages that could lead to lower performance at these units. In this way, all market participants receive information that might have a significant effect on the market price as quickly as possible and at the same time.
