In Denmark Vattenfall owns and operates about one quarter of the total power generation capacity. Vattenfall is also the largest owner and operator of onshore wind power in Denmark.
In Norway, Vattenfall offers electricity and efficient energy solutions to major industries, including Hydro and Alcoa. Vattenfall consultants offer services in all areas in the energy industry, including climate, environment, management and administration.
In the United Kingdom, Vattenfall is a major owner and developer of both offshore and onshore wind power, now preparing for the development of the East Anglia Array, a gigantic offshore wind farm area in the North Sea off the east coast of England.
In France, the market was recently opened for the operation of the country’s hydro power plants to competitive tenders and is therefore a market in which Vattenfall may seek expansion.
