Vattenfall’s goal is to deliver better service and more attractive products, while increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of our processes and systems.
A large part of this involves reducing the environmental impact of our activities and contributing to sustainable development.
Our work within operational efficiency is mainly focused on improving the plant economy and environmental performance of the resources we already have. The R&D work conducted in the field of operational efficiency comprises both our thermal power stations, mainly combined heat and power plants (CHP), and our electricity networks.
