Nuclear energy
The nuclear energy area comprises both nuclear power development and nuclear waste management.
The development of nuclear power mainly refers to operational support and the promotion of the safe operation of our nuclear power plants. Nuclear waste management is concerned with activities related to earlier commitments over final repository of spent nuclear fuel from Swedish nuclear power plants.
The research and development is carried out in cooperation with the rest of the nuclear power industry through the Swedish Nuclear Fuel and Waste Management Company (SKB).
