Local energy and climate days
The Vattenfall energy and climate pavillion was set up in nine cities in seven countries during the spring and summer 2009. It has been a real success.
With the exhibition 'Energy for the future' Vattenfall showed how we work with various energy sources, how to use more efficient energy solutions in the home, and how we are working to be climate-neutral by 2050.
Major development projects such as plug-in hybrid cars, how carbon dioxide can be captured and stored (CCS – Carbon Capture and Storage), and local projects from the region was also displayed.
More than 30,000 people visited the local energy and climate days and the response has been overwhelming, more than 90% of the visitors felt that they learnt more about Vattenfall and our climate work after visiting the pavilion.
