Climate policy advisory services and corporate climate strategies
Based on our experience as an engineering company and our position within the Vattenfall Group we provide climate policy advisory services, capacity development and corporate climate strategies to project owners, financiers (commercial institutions as well as development banks) and technology providers.
By analysing current and expected future climate policies and their impact, we can highlight both the business opportunities and the risks that such policy instruments present.
For qualifying projects in countries without emission caps set by UNFCCC, financing of investments can partly be covered by sales of carbon emission reductions. We can assess the carbon component of a project and assist with incorporating carbon finance into the investment analysis. For projects in countries under EU National Allocation Plans we help our customers with applications for CO2 emission permits to comply with regulation.
