Project sites
Vattenfall's project on CCS is carried out stepwise, where the results of each phase is evaluated before the next phase begins. Upscaling and evaluation of each phase is very important.
The most important steps of the upscaling is the actual project sites that have been or will be established around Europe. The project sites are listed below and should result in commercial concepts for carbon capture and storage at coal-fired power plants by 2015-2020.
