Business Unit Trading is the Group’s central trading platform, cross-regional responsible for access to Energy Wholesale Markets. The main task is to mitigate and transfer energy and commodity-related risk to the market for the entire Vattenfall Group.
BU Trading is responsible for:
- cross border trading including ownership of interconnectors
- proprietary trading/risk taking in electricity and other commodity markets within the given mandates
- execution of the decided Group generation hedge strategy
