The Business Group Nordic comprises the business operations in the Nordic countries.

The Head of Business Group Nordic reports to the CEO and is a member of the ExCom, and the EGM.

The Head of the Business Group appoints a business committe and a management team to support in the management of the business group.

Hydro Nordic

Head of Business Unit:
Gunnar Axheim, Vice President and General Manager

The business unit is accountable for Vattenfall’s electricity generation business in the Nordic region, for ownership, operations and development; and also for the financial result of the Generation Hedge Portfolio in the Nordic region.

The business unit is accountable for physical wholesale market access in the Nordic region.

Distribution Nordic

Head of Business Unit:
Annika Viklund

The business unit is accountable for owning, operating and developing Vattenfall's electricity network business in Sweden and in Finland.

Sales Nordic

Head of Business Unit:
Anna Borg, Vice President and General Manager

Nordic Sales is accountable for:

• sales and marketing in the Nordic region of electricity, energy services and other products, excluding heat, to households, commercial, industrial and reselling customers.
• sales and marketing of electricity, power services and solutions and outsourcing services of energy systems to listed key account customers in Europe.
• the financial result of the Nordic Sales Hedge Portfolio.

Heat Nordic

Head of Business Unit:
Erland Christensen, Vice President and General Manager

The business unit is accountable for: owning, operating and developing district and contract supply heating plants as well as sales and marketing of heat in the Nordic region.

Accountable for the financial result of the Nordic Heat Hedge Portfolio.

Services Nordic

Head of Business Unit:
Jan Bardell, Vice President and General Manager

The business unit is responsible for sales and marketing of consulting and contracting services.
